England Lions wrapped up their one-day international series against Bangladesh A with an morale-boosting six-wicket win in Sylhet on Wednesday.
The Lions went into the fifth and final game having already lost the series but restored pride with a solid triumph that took the final score to 3-2.
Set 153 for victory after dismissing Bangladesh inside 45 overs, England were indebted to James Taylor's unbeaten 65 while good knocks by Jonathan Bairstow (33) and Alex Hales (26) made up for disappointing ducks for both Joe Root and Tom Maynard.
Jos Buttler's brace of sixes got England over the line with 12 overs remaining.
Noor Hussain's 38 was the standout performance by the Bangladesh batsmen, with Farhad Reza the only other player to score more than 20 runs.
Jack Brooks was the pick of the England bowlers with three for 35.
Attention now switches to the first of two Twenty20 matches in Dhaka on Sunday.
