McCarthy ponders Vokes loan

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has still to decide whether to allow striker Sam Vokes go out on loan during the current transfer window.

Vokes is well down the pecking order at Molineux behind the likes of Steven Fletcher, Kevin Doyle and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

McCarthy admitted Vokes is a target for several clubs.

He said: "There is quite a bit of interest in Sam Vokes so we'll see what happens.

"I'm not going to make any decisions on him or any others yet.

"There are plenty of people who want two or three of our players on loan but I will wait and see."
