Boss out to dodge double defeats

Mon 18 Feb, 02:31 PM

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson is hoping his side can go the entire season without suffering defeat twice to any one team. The Robins managed to pull off the feat last term in League One and Johnson has now challenged his side to do the same in the Championship.

Charlton, Leicester and Crystal Palace are among the remaining sides that could still take six points from City - something Johnson is desperate to avoid.

"When you look at the results week in, week out, it's good to know nobody yet has taken six points from us," Johnson told the club's official website.

"We've done the double over a few teams, with a few still to play.

"We'd like to go through the season knowing that no team has beaten us twice."
