Owen Coyle has praised the fans who travelled to Friday's friendly in Ireland and says he would never take their support for granted.The Clarets played out a goalless draw against Bohemians at Dalymount Park in Dublin and were backed by around 200 supporters from Lancashire.

Coyle said: "You can't speak highly enough about the fans - they came and they were vocal.

"It wasn't a particularly warm night, but I think it cheered everyone up and I hope they had a fantastic weekend.

"We certainly value their support and we never underestimate that at our football club, so a big thank you to them for taking the time and the expense to travel over and see us."
