Duncan hoping to agree Caley deal

Mon 18 Feb, 10:01 AM

Russell Duncan is hoping to sign a new deal at Inverness, despite rejecting Caley's initial offer of a new contract last month. The 27-year-old midfielder is hopeful that a compromise can be agreed to keep him at the Highlands outfit.

"My agent is dealing with it and we'll see what happens in the next week or so," Duncan told the Daily Record.

"If my future isn't here, then it's up to me to show others I'm worth a contract.

"But I've loved every minute I've been here. There have been a lot of highs and I'm sure there are more to come.

"I need to be patient. These things take time but hopefully a deal will be agreed."
