Manager Mark Stimson has made a move to strengthen his struggling Gillingham side by completing the signing of free agent Danny Cullip. The experienced defender, 31, has trained with the Gills in recent weeks after being released by QPR and will now see out the season at Priestfield.
"I'm sure we'll change one or two things this week as we've got a senior player in Danny Cullip training with us," said Gills boss Mark Stimson.
"We have tied up a deal with him until the end of the season. It might be someone like that who has to come in and lead by example to get us these wins that we all want.
"We have got a gentlemen's agreement for Danny to stay until the end of the season.
"He'll be the first to admit he hasn't played many games until recently. But we'll test him."
