New Derby president Tom Glick "can't wait to get started" after moving to England from the United States. And Glick, who will run the Rams' day-to-day operation, has promised to listen to fans' comments as the club look to move forward.
He told the club's official website: "This is a challenging and exciting time. The first thing I want to ensure is that this season in the Premier League doesn't lose momentum.
"We are conscious of course of the team's position in the league right now, but there are still new targets we can achieve and pride and points we can win on behalf of Derby County fans.
"To say I can't wait to get started is an understatement. I have spent the last two weeks, since the Manchester City match, back in the States sorting out details with our family's move and preparing for our new life in England. As you can imagine, my mind has been in Derby the entire time.
"I look forward to meeting with representatives of three supporter organisations here at Pride Park on Tuesday and I can promise Rams fans I will be listening very carefully to their comments over the coming days, months and years."
