Liam Hatch says his former team-mates were surprised to see him let fly from 25 yards when he grabbed the winner for Peterborough on Saturday.Hatch came off the bench to loop in a long-range strike to seal a 1-0 win and claim his first goal for Posh since making a £150,000 move from the Bees in January and silence the away fans.
He said: "It was good to score against my former club and I seem to make a habit of that because I scored against my previous club when I was at Barnet.
"Having seen me play many times I don't think the Barnet players expected me to shoot from there and although it took a big deflection it's definitely my goal.
"I heard the fans singing their songs about me, but I'm sure it was nothing malicious and mostly banter. They're a great club and I had a good time there."
