Scunthorpe striker Geoff Horsfield hopes to shake off a hamstring strain in time for the Iron's clash against Wolves at Molineux on Tuesday. The 34-year-old, on loan from Sheffield United, was forced out of the action in the defeat at Stoke and replaced by Martin Hayes early in the second half.
Iron manager Nigel Adkins will still be without defender Cliff Byrne, who recently took a knock to the same leg he fractured in November, while Grant McCann sits out the last match of a three-game ban.
Izzy Iriekpen will again start on the substitutes' bench after returning to the squad at Stoke following a long-term knee injury.
Adkins has no other new injury or suspension problems as his rock-bottom side chase a fourth away win of the season.
