Watford defender Danny Shittu admits the race for promotion to the Premier League is wide open after the weekend's Championship results.The Hornets battled back from 2-0 down at Charlton on Saturday to record a vital point - with Shittu scoring at both ends - moving his side level with new leaders Stoke.

And the giant defender believes the promotion push will go to the wire.

He said: "Everyone has still got a chance in this league - every week it changes.

"Just as one team goes top, something else happens to knock them off their perch.

"We've got 13 games left to play and we're perfectly placed joint top.

"It's a case of giving it one final push because we can't afford to see all of our hard work so far go to waste."
