Wrack happy with Saddlers break

Mon 18 Feb, 09:01 PM

Walsall's Darren Wrack believes that the Saddlers' free weekend has been a benefit. With the Bristol Rovers match being rearranged for April 15, the squad enjoyed a weekend off, something the 31-year-old midfielder believes could prove vital in his side's push for the play-offs.

"I think that the rest has been beneficial in some ways," Wrack told the Express and Star.

"It's nice to switch off from football sometimes, and, given the amount of games we played over Christmas and January I think it was a well earned rest.

"We've got a chance now to make a push for the play-offs at the very least."
