Yeovil have been dealt a major injury blow after defender Nathan Jones was ruled out for at least eight weeks with a broken arm.Jones suffered the injury during Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Oldham and will undergo an operation on Wednesday.
Although he will not need to have the arm in plaster after the operation, the full-back will not be able to subject the arm to any contact and will therefore be forced to sit out training for at least eight weeks.
But there was better news for manager Russell Slade after it was revealed that centre-back Scott Guyett did not break a rib in the defeat at Boundary Park, although he is still a doubt for this weekend's clash with Southend.
Meanwhile, the club have also revealed winger Ishmael Welsh, 20, has moved to Blue Square Premier side Forest Green on an initial month's loan.
