Milan striker Alexandre Pato has been declared fit to play in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Arsenal.

The 18-year-old starlet has missed the Rossoneri's last three games with an ankle injury but is now likely to feature in the game at the Emirates Stadium after having managed to shake off the knock.

Pato has been a revelation since joining Milan from Brazilian side Internacional, netting four goals in his first six games.

That kind of finishing ability was sorely missing from the weekend's goalless draw at Parma, and with Ronaldo out for the rest of the season with a career-threatening knee injury, much of Milan's attacking responsibility will now fall on Pato's young shoulders.

The news comes as a fillip to Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is facing a goalkeeping crisis ahead of the trip to London after Dida sustained a back injury while sitting on the bench on Saturday and Zeljko Kalac sustained a dislocated finger during training a day later.

There are also doubts over the fitness of Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf, who also sat out the game in Parma with an ankle problem.
