Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson could be out for up to two weeks after picking up a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win over Swindon on Saturday.
The 25-year-old scored what proved to be the winner in the 50th minute before limping off late on, and will now miss Tuesday's match at Carlisle.
Tyson was sidelined by a similar injury over Christmas, and told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's basically on the same scale as last time. It's so annoying and frustrating - it just seems to keep on happening."
Forest boss Colin Calderwood said: "Nathan is one of those players who tends to go on goalscoring runs and we hoped that one would prove to be the first of many."
"It looks as though he has got a hamstring strain and will be out for a minimum of two to three weeks.
"It's disappointing because we need all hands to the pump - although we're fortunate that Junior Agogo is back from the African Nations Cup and Grant Holt will be available to face Carlisle on Tuesday after suspension."
