Derek McInnes believes things could have been better for his Bristol City side in a 3-0 defeat at Peterborough if an attacking spell after the break had produced a goal.
Lee Tomlin started and finished the scoring, with David Ball also on target at London Road to pile more pressure on the Robins.
He said: "We were fortunate to be only one down after Peterborough dominated the opening half, but then had a good 20-minute period and things could have been very different if there we had managed a goal.
"But Peterborough held out and went on to finish worthy winners.
"But I am still confident we have the strength to get out of trouble without having to rely on other results going our way."
City have now managed a paltry two goals and one point from their last five outings.

i siag before and i say again McInnes is no good as manager as has millen F..king useless same has this F..king board sack the F..king lot W..kers known as players, manager & board
if the managment cannot see the problems ,we have no idea how to defend and as for our scoring record it a disgrace and if colin sexton lets this shambles go on then i think s, lansdown should replace him .and the manager does not give me any faith in avoiding relegation ,get rid of all dead wood and start again bristol city supporters deserve better than this .
No chance Derek.
BUILD A DEFENCE AND STOP BUYING ATTACKERS.
STOP CONCEDING GOALS
JESUS CHRIST, ANYONE CAN SEE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
