Blades stars on their travels

Championship outfit Sheffield United have had five players called up for international duty next week.Defender Gary Naysmith, wingers Keith Gillespie and David Carney, midfielder Stephen Quinn and on-loan wide man David Cotterill have all been included in their countries' squads for respective friendlies.

Quinn will be on duty for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s as they take on Montenegro and Cotterill is in the full Wales squad for their clash with Luxembourg on March 25.

Naysmith hopes to appear for Scotland against Croatia on March 26 and Gillespie for Northern Ireland against Georgia on the same day.

Australia's player of the year Carney will travel with the Socceroos to face China in a 2010 World Cup qualifier in Kunming on March 26.
