Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem have been saved from bankruptcy after the Arnhem city council on Monday agreed a debt restructuring deal.At a meeting attended by hundreds of supporters, councillors voted 23 to 15 in favour of the deal which cancels the club's 12million euro debt in return for a 880,000 euro payment.
The council also announced that they will now launch an investigation into the club's financial affairs over the past five years.
