Corden: I'm up for the dogfight

Tue 18 Mar, 06:45 PM

On-loan winger Wayne Corden has revealed his determination to help Notts County win their relegation fight following his impressive debut. The Leek-born 32-year-old signed from Leyton Orient last Friday and made an impressive debut 24 hours later in the Magpies' goalless draw with Peterborough.

Corden told the club's official website: "It's great to be back in Nottingham to be honest.

"I've had a couple of years down in London with Orient and although I have enjoyed it down there it is nice to come home.

"I've scored a few goals against Notts County in the past and played well, but now hopefully with the boot on the other foot I can score for the club and move us away from danger.

"I see no reason why we cannot move up that table."
