Cup gong goes to Tykes' Odejayi

Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi has been voted the FA Cup Player of the Round following his heroics in the quarter-final against Chelsea.The big frontman caused a sensation when heading the Tykes' second-half winner at Oakwell to send the Premier League giants crashing out.

Odejayi, targeted by the Barnsley boo-boys the previous week after failing to score since September, was voted for by fans on the FA's website, TheFA.com.

The winners of each stage of the competition, from the first qualifying round through to the semi-finals, will receive VIP hospitality for themselves and a guest at the Wembley final.
