Chairman Ken Davy has issued a damning verdict on Huddersfield's disappointing season and believes the team are letting the club's fans down.Davy, who turned down a takeover bid from former Hull chairman Adam Pearson in October, has accused Andy Ritchie's Terriers of under-achieving following last weekend's home defeat to Southend.
Davy said: "Huddersfield supporters deserve more from their team than is currently being delivered, particularly on our home turf.
"They have a right to expect to see passion, determination and enthusiasm from their team and quite simply, this is not being delivered.
"What is particularly disappointing is that we have some excellent players who take real pride in playing for this great club and we have achieved some terrific scalps this season, including the victory over Birmingham," he added.
"All too often, however, we are failing to perform at our best and we need to put that right as soon as possible for the benefit of everyone who supports Huddersfield Town."
