Wales boss John Toshack has dropped a huge hint that Stockport skipper Ashley Williams will make his international debut against Luxembourg.The defender is one of four new faces in the 22-strong senior squad which Toshack has named for next Wednesday's friendly clash.

"Wednesday gives me a chance to look at new players and I'm without three centre-halves so this is a chance for Ashley," Toshack said.

"I've seen Ashley play myself as have Roy Evans and Dean Saunders and we've had some good reports on him this season.

"He was unfortunate to get injured earlier in the season because he would have been in the last squad and I understand Stockport County have had an offer or two for him."
