Shefki Kuqi could see his loan from Crystal Palace to Ipswich come to an impromptu end after he suffered a hamstring injury against Charlton.The 31-year-old will miss Saturday's trip to struggling Scunthorpe and it is uncertain whether he will recover enough to complete his loan period.

Club Physio Matt Byard told the club's official website: "We will monitor his progress throughout the week.

"We will have more of an idea on when he may be back either at the end of this week or the start of next week."

Town boss Jim Magilton told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I think his hamstring has gone. We'll just have to wait and see.

"If that's it, then that's it, but we'll move on and it will give someone else a chance."
