Grimsby Town have sold more than 20,000 tickets for their Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley Stadium at the end of the month.Fellow finalists MK Dons have already sold out their 26,000 allocation and the Mariners are well on the way to matching them after tickets went on sale on Sunday.

Grimsby's accounts manager Steve Wraith told the Grimsby Telegraph: "The final number is going to be well in to the 20,000s, there is no doubt about that now.

"Orders are coming in quicker than we can process them. It's been a fantastic response."

Grimsby take on the League Two leaders at Wembley in the final on Sunday, March 30.
