Swindon's Michael Pook and Chris Allen returned to competitive action on Tuesday evening in a 3-0 reserve team win over Bristol Rovers.Forming an impressive midfield partnership with Allen, Pook - who has been sidelined with a dead leg in recent weeks - set up Ben Joyce for his second and Swindon's third goal.

Allen, who had picked up a knee injury in last week's defeat to Leyton Orient, lasted the full 90 minutes.

The former Aston Villa forward Joyce scored his first in the 70th minute adding to Moses Ashikodi's penalty after a foul on Sofiene Zaaboub.
