Hartlepool boss Danny Wilson has revealed he is not "actively pursuing" any loan targets despite Tom Craddock's return to owners Middlesbrough. With frontmen Richard Barker and James Brown returning from respective knee injuries, Wilson feels he does not need to replace Craddock, who made just a single start during his month-long loan stay.
He told the Hartlepool Mail: "Unfortunately we could not get Tom the games we would have liked and it was pointless him sitting on the bench.
"With Barker and Brown coming back to fitness, it would have made it even more difficult for him to get in the side.
"He pulled us through a bit of a hole in terms of strikers available and he is a quality footballer. I am sure he will go on to play again but whether that is for us, Boro or another team, we will have to wait and see.
"We will keep an eye on the loan market but we are not actively pursuing anyone at the moment."
