Everton striker Andrew Johnson faces a race to be fit for this Saturday's Premier League clash against West Ham at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old striker picked up a groin strain on Sunday in the defeat by Fulham.
Everton physio Mick Rathbone told the club's website: "AJ had a scan on Monday and it revealed what we thought it would. The player has a groin strain and we'll do everything we can to get him fit before the weekend."
