John Terry's goalscoring performance at Sunderland makes him the standout player from the weekend's Premier League action. Dean Ashton also impressed, running the Blackburn defence ragged. The bleached-haired one turned the game with his deft flick and finish, before setting up 18-year-old Freddie Sears for the winner. Portsmouth's home win against Aston Villa results in four of Harry Redknapp's in-form contingent making the line-up, including the resurgent Jermain Defoe.
