Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd is set to name an unchanged side for the visit of promotion rivals Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road. The Hornets stretched their barren run of form to just one win in 11 games with the creditable 1-1 draw at West Brom last Saturday and after Darius Henderson came through that match unscathed Boothroyd will name the same XI.
Henderson had been struggling with a hamstring injury but lasted 90 minutes at the Hawthorns and is set to start up front alongside Tamas Priskin.
That would see the club's under-performing record signing Nathan Ellington again on the bench while Collins John is unlikely to feature again in a Hornets shirt.
John has failed to get up to match fitness since joining on loan from Fulham in January and will not be included to face Palace.
Midfielder Damien Francis has also been ruled out for the rest of the season thanks to his knee injury as Boothroyd searches for a much-needed three points to keep dreams of automatic promotion alive.
