Hull boss Phil Brown hopes defender Wayne Brown can shake off a minor hamstring injury in time for the Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United.Brown has only recently overcome a calf strain, but is expected to retain his place in the starting XI at Bramall Lane as the second-placed Tigers look to build on Tuesday's impressive 3-1 win at Barnsley.
Winger Richard Garcia and striker Henrik Pedersen both missed the midweek outing at Oakwell with shoulder and hamstring problems respectively, with the latter the more likely of the two to return to action this weekend.
Bryan Hughes is again in line to replace Garcia, while striker Dean Windass staked a claim for a recall in attack after scoring as a late substitute against the Tykes.
