Coventry keeper signs new deal

Coventry manager Chris Coleman has handed rookie goalkeeper Danny Ireland a one-year contract extension at the Ricoh Arena.Ireland was one of four players to be offered new deals by Coleman and is the second player to sign, after fellow goalkeeper Andy Marshall put pen to paper on a deal earlier this week.

Coleman told the club's official website: "Danny has impressed me during our training sessions and I believe he has a lot of potential.

"I believe he will only get better next season and he is also a great lad to work with."
