Macclesfield Town boss Keith Alexander is likely to be without Jamie Tolley and Shaun Brisley for the trip to derby rivals Bury.Midfielder Tolley was forced off after just 31 minutes during last weekend's goalless draw against Mansfield due to a hip injury.

Rookie defender Brisley is fighting to recover from an ankle problem sustained against the Stags and could also miss out at Gigg Lane.

James Jennings and Richard Edghill replaced Tolley and Brisley respectively and come into contention for starting roles.

Striker Martin Gritton is nursing a back strain which could again reduce him to the sidelines.

The Silkmen are seven points above the relegation zone with only three matches remaining and look all but safe from the drop.
