Huddersfield goalkeeper Matt Glennon has turned down a new contract offer at the League One club and looks likely to leave on a free transfer. The highly-rated stopper, who is out of contract in the summer, has already attracted the interest of a number of Premier League and Championship clubs including Birmingham and Charlton.
Glennon was initially reported as being happy to stay with the Terriers but his agent, Richard Cody, has confirmed that the player has turned down the offer.
Cody told Skysports: "The offer was way below what we expected and was simply not good enough for a player of Matty's ability.
"Many regard Glennon as the best keeper outside the Championship and there is interest in him and clubs have been watching him closely.
"It is a real shame as Matt loves the club, the fans - but there is no way he can sign what has been offered to him."
