Rochdale manager Keith Hill will check on the fitness of defender Simon Ramsden ahead of the visit of Lancashire rivals Morecambe. The right-back picked up a knock which forced him off after just 29 minutes of Tuesday's comprehensive 3-0 home win over Barnet.
Ramsden was replaced by Marcus Holness and he will replace Ramsden from the start should the 26-year-old fail to recover.
Hill could again be without striker Lee Thorpe due to a leg injury sustained in the recent win against Grimsby, but he has no other injury concerns.
Dale will be hoping to secure their seventh successive home win as they bid to secure a top-seven finish.
Hill said: "The players see themselves as promotion candidates and beating Morecambe will secure a play-off spot."
