Mansfield boss Paul Holland hopes to have Carl Muggleton and Michael Boulding available for his side's crucial home clash against Shrewsbury.Veteran goalkeeper Muggleton missed the goalless draw against Macclesfield with a bruised thumb, while top scorer Boulding limped off after an hour at Moss Rose after suffering an ankle injury.
Both players resumed training this week and are likely to start against the Shrews should they continue to feel no ill-effects.
Meanwhile, defender Gareth Jelleyman could be a surprise inclusion in the Stags' squad.
Holland ruled Jelleyman out in midweek following the 27-year-old's Achilles injury at Macclesfield.
However, on Thursday the Mansfield boss said: "Gareth is coming along a lot better than hoped and, although it is going to be touch and go, he could be back."
