Tottenham head coach Juande Ramos fully expects Ledley King to be playing his football at White Hart Lane at the start of next season.Ramos could name a new club captain when the campaign is over but he insists that is not related to King's future at Spurs.

Ramos told the club's official website: "Today's newspapers have made a great deal out of my comments concerning Ledley King, which were made in relation to him remaining as club captain next season.

"So there is no misunderstanding, Ledley is handling his recovery well and we fully expect him to be here at the start of next season."
