Martin pushing to take on Tigers

Fri 18 Apr, 01:30 PM

On-loan winger Lee Martin could return to Sheffield United's squad for Saturday's clash with promotion-chasing Hull at Bramall Lane. The 21-year-old, on loan from Manchester United, has been sidelined since the end of February with a knee injury.

Manager Kevin Blackwell has no new injury or suspension worries and is not expected to make any changes to the side which started in last week's win at Burnley, meaning Martin will have to settle for a place on the bench if he is passed fit.

The Blades have won six of their last eight league matches to keep alive their outside play-off chances.

James Beattie has fired six goals in his last four games and will partner Billy Sharp again up front, Chris Morgan and Matt Kilgallon will resume in central defence and in-form winger David Cotterill will also keep his place.
