Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore will be without the services of midfielders Paul McLaren and Steve Jennings for the trip to Huddersfield.McLaren picked up his 10th booking of the season in last week's 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest.
He begins a two-match ban and is joined on the sidelines by Jennings, who also collected a late booking against Forest and will similarly miss the next two games.
Moore will also assess the fitness of winger Steve Davies as he bids to shake off a niggling injury.
The Prenton Park chief has urged his side to keep their play-off hopes alive by collecting all three points at the Galpharm Stadium.
He said: "We have got to go to Huddersfield and win."
