Fri 18 Apr, 01:45 PM

Bury manager Alan Knill is boosted by the return of skipper Paul Scott after suspension for the home clash against derby rivals Macclesfield. The influential midfielder has completed a two-match ban for collecting his 10th booking of the season.

But full-back Andy Parrish is doubtful due to an ankle injury sustained against Barnet in last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Underhill.

He limped off after an hour following an awkward fall and is now rated as doubtful to face the Silkmen.

Defender Dave Challinor could again be sidelined as he battles to recover from a knee injury, but Stoke youngster Adam Rooney will be eligible after extending his loan spell until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old striker has enjoyed a successful two-month stint with the Shakers, scoring three goals in 14 appearances so far.
