Brentford manager Andy Scott is waiting to hear on news of striker Nathan Elder's knee operation before naming his side to face Lincoln.Elder has been playing through a knee injury for several weeks and is set to go for an operation before the end of the season.
However, Scott could delay the surgery by a week to allow Elder to partner Alan Connell up front for one more game.
Scott has been experimenting with formations over the last few games with one eye on next season and reverted back to 4-4-2 for last weekend's 2-2 draw with Bradford.
Young striker Ross Montague remains Scott's only injury absentee with his back injury as the Bees look for an 11th away win of the season.
