James Scowcroft is expected to be missing from the Crystal Palace squad which travels to Vicarage Road to face promotion rivals Watford.The striker sat out last weekend's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe with a hamstring injury and is unlikely to be fit to face the Hornets, although Palace are hopeful he will still play a part in the run-in.

Victor Moses and Matt Lawrence will face late fitness tests ahead of the trip.

Teenage forward Moses limped off against Scunthorpe with an ankle injury while defender Lawrence is being nursed through the final few matches having put off a hernia operation until the summer.

Injury-hit winger Paul Ifill could be involved having returned to training this week following his persistent back and hamstring problems.
