Tykes boss Davey sweating on duo

Fri 18 Apr, 11:00 AM

Skipper Brian Howard and winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce are both struggling to be fit in time for Barnsley's clash with Leicester at Oakwell.Howard has missed the last three matches through injury and illness and has been forced to sit out training this week because of a sickness bug.

Simon Davey could also be without Campbell-Ryce, who has been nursing a bruised ankle bone in recent weeks.

Midfield playmaker Diego Leon has been instrumental in Barnsley's climb away from the drop zone in Howard's absence and the Spaniard is expected to continue in the starting line-up.

Strike pair Daniel Nardiello and Istvan Ferenczi are both expected to start on the substitutes' bench again.

Barnsley will ensure their safety with two games remaining if they beat the struggling Foxes.
