Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has urged the club's fans not to let the controversy over price rises dent their rapport with the team. The Owls have come under fire from fans after raising season-ticket charges for next season by an average of 12.5 per cent.
But Laws is trying to focus purely on the remaining games as the Owls fight to stay in the Championship ahead of Saturday's trip to Blackpool.
Laws told the Sheffield Star: "Every time we try to do something on the pitch we also seem to give them a knock, whether it's the season tickets or the way we started the season or the takeover issue. My heart goes out to them. They have stood with us.
"I appeal to the supporters to put to one side any differences you may feel with the club, for these next three games, and give it your all, because what happens on Saturday will certainly determine how we go on for the rest of the season."
