Great Leighs will stage its first official meeting on Sunday after the course passed an 11th-hour inspection at 9am on Friday.
An inspectorate of the British Horseracing Authority visited the course on Thursday but delayed their final decision as to whether racing would go ahead as a few points still needed to be ironed out.
By the final deadline the key issues had been resolved, enabling the BHA to give the green light.
Paul Struthers, BHA spokesman, said: "Great Leighs has passed this morning's inspection and declarations for Sunday's fixture will therefore be accepted.
"Minor preparatory work will continue today and tomorrow.
"However, barring unforeseen circumstances, racing at Great Leighs on Sunday goes ahead."
