Getafe coach Michael Laudrup has put Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea on red alert by announcing that he could leave the club in the summer.
The Dane has taken Los Azulones to new heights this season, reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup and the final of the Copa del Rey.
A dramatic extra-time equaliser from Bayern Munich's Luca Toni recently put paid to Getafe's UEFA Cup ambitions, and they lost 3-1 to Valencia in the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday night.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are rumoured admirers of the former Danish international, who represented both sides with great distinction during the 1990s.
Barca boss Frank Rijkaard's job is thought to be in jeopardy after a season in which his side have failed to exert serious pressure on reigning champions and current league leaders Real.
Laudrup replaced current Real boss Schuster at Getafe when the German left for the Bernabeu last summer, and despite Real's nine-point advantage over their Catalan rivals, a stuttering campaign means Schuster's position is far from secure.
Laudrup has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, whose coach Avram Grant has failed to win over the fans despite taking the club to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
With six games remaining in La Liga, Getafe are seven points clear of the relegation zone in 12th position, and Laudrup has revealed that he could seek a move in the close season.
"Only after the very last whistle blows will I decide whether I will stay in Getafe or accept an offer from another club," he told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
"I will not comment on any rumours regarding other clubs at this point because I want to focus on my current job."
