Roll up, roll up, it's Fantasy Premier League time again! Step right this way as we go bargain-hunting in the transfer market...
GOALKEEPERS
Choose 'em: If ever there was a time when we would recommend Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon (2.06), it's now. The Scotsman will be lining up against a Hull that are struggling to score of late.
With Manuel Almunia (13.68) still injured, Lukasz Fabianski (6.10) is a good price if you fancy Arsenal to upset Liverpool's title bid.
With the price of the rather good Shay Given (5.49) dropping following Manchester City's 3-1 home defeat to Fulham, he's worth picking up for a highly-probable clean sheet he'll deliver against West Brom.
Lose 'em: Portsmouth are the one playing twice this gameweek - at the expense of Wigan, who do not feature - but don't let that tempt you into going for David James (7.79). Pompey's opponents on Saturday, Bolton, have banged in 10 goals in their last six games, and then there's Wednesday's trip to Old Trafford.
Former Middlesbrough goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer (12.28) returns to the North East with Fulham. He's pretty expensive anyway, but a season-saving win for Boro could be on the cards there.
DEFENDERS
Choose 'em: The clash between Stoke and Blackburn - two sides whose training methods include Dodgeball-style spanner-throwing drills (possibly) - screams 0-0, so picking up Andy Wilkinson (3.92) or Ryan Nelsen (6.19) may serve you well.
Chelsea's Ricardo Carvalho (8.24) is a nice price and could be worth snapping up now before his price goes up.
Lose 'em: Portsmouth's Glen Johnson (9.46) is back from suspension for a red card, but with United looming he could be given a miss
With the way that Fabio Aurelio (11.81) has been playing recently, and they way that Andrea Dossena (9.43) plays most of the time, best leave the Italian alone.
MIDFIELDERS
Choose 'em: Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard (17.81) will be well rested by the time Arsenal rock up at Anfield on Tuesday. Having said that, Cesc Fabregas (16.99) has been immense for the Gunners since returning from injury, laying on six assists already. Take your pick.
Chelsea's much-maligned Florent Malouda (10.69) has improved of late. He should start against Everton, whose captain Phil Neville (5.57) has been criminally overlooked for PFA Player of the Year, according to our own Jim White.
Tottenham's Wilson Palacios (4.31) is back from his ban to put in plenty of tackles against Newcastle and maybe even pop off the odd shot too, and Kieran Richardson (8.60) returns to take all the set pieces for Sunderland against Hull.
Lose 'em: As good as Everton's Maroune Fellaini (9.11) is, he picks up a hell of a lot of bookings, something he's even more likely to do while scrabbling around for the ball at Chelsea.
Talking of yellow cards, Middlesbrough's Gary O'Neil (10) and Hull's Ian Ashbee (4.98) are both suspended.
FORWARDS
Choose 'em: You've had plenty of time now, more than enough, but if you still refuse to pick Andrei Arshavin (9.05) then there is something wrong with you. The way the Russian has been playing, he's sure to give Liverpool some problems.
Robinho (12.37) put in his first performance for Manchester City in quite a while against Hamburg, and West Brom could be visiting at just the wrong time if that spirited 2-1 win galvanises City.
If Tuncay Sanli (9.61) fancies it against Fulham, he could cause havoc, while West Ham's Luis Boa Morte (2.99) works as a cheap enabler as long as he doesn't take anyone's head off.
Lose 'em: Time was that Peter Crouch (10.39) would have been a shrewd signing - he's either created or scored almost half of Portsmouth's goals this season. How he'll fare against the aerially strong Bolton and the Ferdinand/Vidic duo of United isn't so certain though.
James Beattie (12.76) has been a revelation for Stoke, but is maybe a tad pricey for what will be a low scoring match.
Fulham's Clint Dempsey (13.16) grabbed a brace against Eastlands last weekend, but his scoring form this season has been sporadic, so is unreliable at that price.

gordon
shawcross wilkinson richards
kranjcar fabregas malouda downing
arshavin torres drogba
For all the Torres folks, he's playing one of the other big four which usually reduces points than if he was playing say West Brom, also he's coming off a CL game and there's a possibility of a slump after being bounced from the CL. Add to that his relatively high price and if you don't already have him it might not be a good idea to pick him up THIS week.
As for Ronaldo, it kinda goes without saying that if you can afford him you should have him, but again his cost is often prohibitive at this point in the season and kinda the point of Fantasy C&L is to point out good match-ups and places where you can grab good value, not to rank the players from best to worst. That's what the point system is for.
HOW AINT RONALDO ON THERE FOR HIS SCEAMER?
