Norwich manager Bryan Gunn insists he is fully prepared for the stresses and strains of attempting to return the club back to the Championship at the first attempt.

Gunn, assistant Ian Butterworth and coach Ian Crook are tasked with reviving the Canaries` fortunes following their dismal slide into League One.

"A lot of people have said I should try and get a little bit of rest because the rigours of being a manager, the constant speaking to people on the phone, it does take it out of you," Gunn told the club's official website.

"But my job is something I'm wholeheartedly committed to, and my main aim is to show we've got a quality team to start the League One programme on August 8."

  2. Gunn will not be an experienced enough manager to get Norwich anywhere near promotion-players will leave and the quality will not come in to replace them due to funds-it will much of the same again just in a lower league-Norwich fans deserve alot more.
