The 16 teams looking to qualify for next year's women's World Championships in Japan have been placed into third round qualification pools following this weekend's second round tournaments in Azerbaijan, Croatia, Bulgaria and France.
Conegliano, Italy will stage Pool H of the third round where the host country, Bulgaria, Belarus and Czech Republic will battle it out for qualification. Both Bulgaria and Belarus made it through their weekend fixtures undefeated in Pools F and D respectively.
Pool I will be hosted by Serbia, and joining them will be Croatia, Romania and Spain. The Spanish (Pool G) and Croats (Pool E) topped their groups while Romania (Pool F) scraped through with a 2-2 record.
Bydgoszcz, Poland will be the setting for Pool J, a pool which the hosts and Turkey received byes for. Joining them will be Belgium and France.
Azerbaijan hosted Pool D at the weekend where they finished second. Their reward is a spot in Pool K in Almere, Netherlands where Germany and Slovenia will also compete.
The third-round competitions will take place from July 17-19 with the top two teams from each pool qualifying for the championships in Japan from October 29-November 14, 2010.
