Premier League - Huddlestone set for knee surgery

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone is set to undergo surgery on his left knee.

Huddlestone now faces an anxious wait to see if he will be fit for England Under-21s in their European Championship campaign this summer.

The 22-year-old was understood to be carrying the slight problem through the last few months and he will now go under the knife and miss the last part of Spurs' Premier League season.

"The operation will rule the midfielder out of our final fixture of the season at Liverpool on Sunday," read a statement from the club.

  1. there had to be a price for carrying all that fat­ about, what a lard arse!! Hes probably played his last­ game in the prem now. I can picture him after his­ operation sitting on the sofa with his leg up on a­ poufe ( no not Bentley) surrounded by empty KFC boxes­ and donuts (again not Bentley). He`ll be about 19 stone­ come the end of June!! Bye Bye wardrobe
