Premier League - Video: Cisse wins goal of season

Papiss Cisse's wonder strike for Newcastle against Chelsea was the clear winner of our goal of the season poll.

Goal of the Season

The Senegalese striker won 43 per cent of the vote, putting him way out in front of Arsenal's Robin van Persie who somewhat surprisingly finished second with 18 per cent.

Peter Crouch's superb goal for Stoke against Man City was hailed as a banker for goal of the season when he scored it back in March, but he only won 14 per cent of the vote to finish in third place.

  7. well all those who think cisse didnt mean it watch­ again and watch where cisses looking at the whole time­ give you a clue where the ball ends up and also u not­ see all the other goals his scored left foot right foot­ it doesnt matter they all end up in the back of the net­ 13 goals in 14 games no one in premier league history­ has made an instant hit like he has and people dont­ think his class because he didnt cost over 50 mill the­ fact his scored more the torres and carroll in 14 games­ and they both played over 50 games and only scored like­ 10 and 12

  20. 13 goals in 14 games cisse signing of the season his­ got pure tekkers and he beat torres and carroll when­ they played them cisse 2 torres nill and cisse 2­ carroll nil so he got to be worth 85 mill now ;)
