unfortunate that many so called arsenal fans do not have much knowledge about the club. wenger was promised 70 million pounds in january but the value of that money with the economic crisis in the housing market in europe and north america has dropped to about 25million.remember a lot of the money is tied to the sale of property around highbury.
arsenal is also owing 360million pounds on the new stadium. if they are careless with spending, they may go the way of leeds united and thats why arsene wenger is so important. he has managed to keep arsenal competitive even with these austere times. everyone will like to buy star players and win championships. its much easier than wenger's method but arsenal for now cannot aford to spend like man u and chelsea.
the board realises this and thats why wenger has the most secure job in world football; trophies or no trophies.

I think enough is enough for Arsene Wenger, Four years with trophy, it is absolutely incomprehensible. He should try and invest of quality players so that he can match the likes of manchester united & chelsea. Funds is made available to him, he should buy quality players with experience that can deliver for the gunners next season. Though the talent that he is building on are not bad, but the need about 3-4 experienced players among them. We need to win trophies this season and i know god of soccer will stay by arsenal.
